Hotel Conditional Access System
Conditional Access System ideal for hospitality administrators willing to offer pay TV channels to their guests without having todo a great expenditure on new infrastructures.
The system is composed of 5 elements:
- BackOffice system: ECL-BCK.
- Set Top Box: ECL-STB.
- SmartCard: ECL-TAR.
- Master SmartCard ECL-MCR5.
- Vending Machine: ECL-KSC.

BackOffice
The BackOffice system enables reading and writing usersmartcards, as well as managing the credit, sales, billing, prices,statistics, etc. from reception desk.
PC platform based system with intuitive software and a USBtype smartcard reader.
The use of SmartCard readers is secure, is not limited on thenumber of rooms and enable easy update at any time.
Decoder
This unit will be installed in each room, without restrictions inthe number of subscribers, and will be activated by the guestwhen inserting the smartcard received at reception desk duringregistration. Insertion of smartcard in the Set Top Box willactivate the code releasing the cannel package and starting thetimer countdown.
Includes a display where the guest can see the remaining viewingtime for the encrypted channels.
Possibility to power up with adaptor or connecting directly to TVUSB port.
Configurable to be installed at each side of TV set.
The system enables control of one to three cannel packagesdepending on the model.

Client Card and Master Card
ECL-TAR. Secured SmartCard identifying user by room, hotel and chain,and enabling the offer of multiple business models such asfidelity programs for a hotel chains, with monthly, quarterly,yearly subscriptions, etc.
ECL-MCR. Master SmartCard for system configuration and setup bymaintenance personnel. It enables to set up the configurationparameters in an easy and quick way.

ECL-KSC. Smartcard Vending machine for the sale andreload of credit.
